Abstract

This study analyses the goals scored on 2011 AMERICA'S LIBERTADORES CUP AND 2010-2011 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and assesses the goals scored per each time half of the game. Each half game was subdivided in smaller intervals of 15 minutes each for a better comprehension of the study.  Thereby it was observed that the results correspond to those found on similar studies and researches. Therefore it was concluded that on a soccer game, there is a trend of scoring on the last  15 minutes of each half game interval of time, and this can be leaded by fatigue or lack of attention.
